2027 YANGZHENG PRIMARY SCHOOL PARENT VOLUNTEER PROGRAMME FOR 2029 P1 ADMISSION – RECRUITMENT EXERCISE
1. Eligibility
Parents of children who are Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents (SPR) are eligible for this programme. However, if there is an overwhelming response, priority will be given to parents whose child is a Singapore Citizen. Selection interviews may also be conducted in such instances.
Parents are to note that this scheme accords an eligibility to register at Yangzheng Primary School under Phase 2B of the Primary One Registration Exercise; it does not guarantee their child a place. For more details, please refer to the MOE website: https://www.moe.gov.sg/primary/p1-registration/registration-phases-key-dates
2. Submission of Documents
Please register online via FormSG when the application opens on 15 December 2026. You will be required to attach scanned copies of your child's Birth Certificate, your NRIC, and your spouse's NRIC. Please also prepare a short proposal for each parent on their areas of speciality for parent volunteering.
3. Application Closing Date
Applications will close on 15 February 2027. Please note that an invitation for a selection interview does not guarantee successful selection as a parent volunteer. Selection is not on a first-come-first-served basis, and only successful applicants will be notified.
4. Application Timeline and Result Notifications
Timeline for successful applicants to be notified.
Period | Update |
March/April | Shortlisted applicants may be notified to attend face-to-face meetings/interviews, conducted in groups or individually. |
April/May | The school will notify all successful applicants of the outcome of their application. |
Please note that the school will not be able to advise all applicants on the status of their application and only successful applicants will be notified due to the large number of applications. Successful applicants will be required to serve and complete at least 40 hours of voluntary service within the stipulated period in order to be eligible for Phase 2B of the Primary One Registration Exercise
We seek your understanding and cooperation on this matter.
